On Jan 31, 2024, FX Lions used the SPOT vision screening system to screen the eyesight of 41 children (ages 2-5) at Emmanuel Lutheran Pre-School. The screening resulted in notifying parents of four children we referred those children for a follow-up eye exam by a professional optometrist.
For the past three decades, students have competed in the Lions “Peace Poster” art contest. The 2023 theme was “Dare to Dream. ” The Northern VA winning poster will compete in state-wide competition.
